The new PT-1000 trainer, developed by UK Gear, promises to be a outstanding success. The PT-1000 is an ultra durable road and trail running shoe and is on target to be world’s most durable running shoe. So if you want a running shoe that will last for 1000 miles in rough terrain then look at this new trainer because the average trainer wont last anything like 1000 miles.
UK Gear, the manufactuers, say that the shoe "promises to redefine the athletic shoe market". The trainers have gone through years of durability testing with the UK Army, the US Army and at SATRA laboratories (SATRA are the World’s leading research and technology centre – if you want to improve the performance, quality and safety of your product or material you should head straight for SATRA).
Apparently all British Army recruits get issued with a pair of standard UK Gear shoes every year. Now the PT-1000 will be rolled out and very soon all 450 instructors at the Army Physical Training Corp’s (APTC) Aldershot base will be wearing the new training shoes.
They are expected to be available for anyone to purchase any day now.
