Star player Cristiano Ronaldo takes a knock

Cristiano Ronaldo, top footie player for Real Madrid, will be out of action for 2-3 weeks after bruising his right medial malleolus and tibia (ankle joint). Apparently he didn’t notice it at the time but acute post-trauma oedema led to an MRI scan to check for fractures. Fortunately there were no breaks just bruising, but when you are the world’s most expensive football player …
