Look who I was having dinner with last night – Michael Howard. Well actually it was the local Conservative Annual Dinner in Tenterden in Kent and there were a significant number of other guests including Damian Green our local MP. It took ages to get this photo taken on my phone (that’s why it’s a bit blurred) and Michael said it was the longest handshake in history but he was very patient. Perhaps it was because I was gripping his hand so hard he couldn’t escape from me. Anyway it was a great dinner and an excellent motivational after dinner speech by Michael.
